TWO ALAMO COLLEGES DISTRICT CORPORATE MASCOTS CELEBRATE ST. PHILIP'S COLLEGE CORPORATE MASCOT PHIL THE TIGER WITH A BIRTHDAY PARTY AT SPC

The Birthday Bash for the St. Philip's College corporate mascot Phil The Tiger was an all-star team-building affair March 4 in the college's Turbon Student Center.

The mascots for the corporate brands of Alamo Colleges District institutions San Antonio College and Northwest Vista College were present, and rightfully so as many of the District's 60,000-plus students and employees are cross-enrolled and cross-employed in the business of knowledge building and graduating at record pace at any given time of day on campus or online.

In addition to the San Antonio College and Northwest Vista College mascots, Phil’s special guests yesterday included the heart of the Alamo Colleges District---some of the 13,000 students enrolled at St. Philip’s College. Phil and his corporate communication colleagues gamed, bowled, and even promoted the college with Angelia Jacobs in her capacity as the college's Student Government President and the recent past Alamo Colleges District Alternate Student Trustee. Male and female students co-represent the St. Philip’s College brand as Phil, and up to four students have shared the role during a given season, event organizers share.
