Jeffrey French Named Director of Strategic Initiatives

杰弗里·W. 法国人，退休U.S. Army Colonel, has joined St. Philip’s 大学 as Director of Strategic Initiatives. French brings 28-years of results-oriented domestic 和 international experiences in program management, operations 和 development. As a leader in regional operations, French is adept in developing strategic-level solutions 和 leading change through creative 和 collaborative team-building.

French graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1991 和 was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant. His military education includes the Infantry Officer Basic 和 Advanced Courses, U.S. Army Comm和 和 General Staff 大学, 和 U.S. 陆军战争学院.

His awards 和 decorations include the Legion of Merit, 青铜星章, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, 军功奖章, National Defense Service Medal, 伊拉克战役奖章, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, 陆军服役绶带, Overseas Service Ribbon, Expert Infantryman Badge 和 the Combat Infantryman Badge. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy, a Master of Arts in Military History from Texas A&M University 和 a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. 陆军战争学院. He retired from military service in October 2019.

French 和 his wife, Katherine, are the proud parents of three children: Kyle, Sarah 和 Annemarie.
