Graduate Spotlight: Darius Martin

Darius Martin is a San Antonio native with a passion for finance, nutrition, youth development, and mentorship. Darius will be receiving an Associate of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in finance.

Darius is an active member of Collegiate 100, a chartered support organization that serves to nurture and enhance the growth and development of young men and women of color. Through the organization, he mentors and guides Early College High School students on professional development skills and college readiness.

In addition to mentoring, Darius participates in various community service activities and volunteers with Wealth Between Us, a nonprofit that provides financial literacy and education to youth and teenagers.

As a student, Darius served a one-year term as Alamo Colleges District Student Trustee (2020-2021) -- representing over 65,000 students. Darius also served as the St. Philip’s College 2021 HBCU Competitiveness Scholar, Fall 2021 Presidential Scholar, and Mr. St. Philip's (Homecoming 2021-2022).

Darius will continue his education in business and finance at Morehouse College. He hopes to begin a finance career with a competitive firm and plans to continue seeking opportunities that involve mentorship.
